Cosens-Brown Timber Harvesting Plan 4-18-012-ELD Amendment #2 (Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-ELD-63025-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number EPIMS-ELD-63025-R2 for applicant Douglas Cosens. This agreement, pursuant to section 1611 of the Fish and Game Code, is part of the Cosens-Brown Timber Harvesting Plan 4-18-012-ELD Amendment 2. The project is specifically limited to the construction of two rocked dips on both sides of a permanent Class II culvert crossing. The work is located in El Dorado County within the CALWATER watersheds of Jackass Canyon, Butte Creek, and their connecting tributaries, specifically within Township 9N, Range 12E, Section 14, and the Camino and Sly Park USGS Quad Maps. The project is overseen by the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection as the lead agency. According to the Notice of Determination dated October 24, 2025, the project will not have a significant environmental effect within the jurisdiction of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. While mitigation measures were imposed as a condition of approval, no formal mitigation reporting or monitoring plan was adopted.
