The Department of Defense, through AFLCMC/ESGK-R Strategic Ground Sensors, is conducting market research to identify capable sources for the qualification and production of X-Band Cross Over Network Waveguide Assemblies (CNWA), specifically part number G638416-1. This effort requires a Form, Fit, and Function replacement for up to two assemblies. The scope of work includes development, production, delivery, installation, and testing. A first-article unit must undergo testing at the manufacturer's facility before being installed on a 27-meter radar at an OCONUS operational site. Full production will only commence following a successful 30-day testing period. The government requires a complete Technical Data Package delivered in native CAD/CAE/CAM and 2-D PDF formats, along with unlimited data rights for all reverse engineering and associated documentation. While the final acquisition strategy and security clearance levels are not yet determined, the government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price contract. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to respond with unclassified technical capabilities statements, including details on teaming arrangements and similar experience from the past three years. Responses are due by November 30, 2026, and must be submitted via email to the designated contracting office.
