INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO XEROX SPECIAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS: NOTE: (This is not for copier equipment) The associated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 333293 (Communications Equipment) and business size standard is $6.0M applies. This maybe proprietary cables. Background Department of Commerce (DOC)/International Trade Administration (ITA) provides its five business units and 18 other DOC departments with interconnectivity with the State Department (SD) with a Telecommunications Center (TCC) in the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB) The TC provides secure message capabilities to DOC and SD sites around the world. ITA is considering the purchase of a more up-to-date system, but in the meanwhile, the current system, which is aged, has to be maintained. Objective The Offeror shall demonstrate capability in maintaining an Automated Message Analysis Distribution System, Xerox Distributed Message Systems, Centralized Xerox Message Processing units and associated Xerox peripheral equipment (as listed below) that supports the processing of incoming and outgoing cables for the DOC. ?
