Full Description

The National Capital Region Contracting Center, on behalf of the U.S. Army Inspector General Agency Information Resources Management Division intends to award a sole source bridge contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to Aitken Associates, Inc., P. O. BOX 290 7200 Wesley Tyler Road, Clifton VA 2012413450. The Secretary of the Army Inspector General Agency (SAIG), Pentagon, requires an Information Systems Engineering (ISE) contractor to provide Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN), software development support and technical support services. The IGNET Help Desk contract will provide hardware and software remedial maintenance in support of all agency computer equipment located in the Pentagon, in the Presidential Towers (2511 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA), in the Taylor Building, and in the SAIG Training division (Humphreys Hall) located at Fort Belvoir, VA. The primary Information Resource Management Division work center is located at the Presidential Towers site and the Pentagon upon the Division's BRAC relocation move. The objective is for the contractor to maintain and operate the Inspector General Network (IGNET) to include incorporating the latest technology into the system and assuring daily operation of the worldwide network. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract with a Period of Performance of 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2011. This notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFP available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted.
