This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SDARNG has a requirement to relocate an existing Multimedia Distribution System (MDS) into a new facility, located at 2823 W Main, Rapid City, SD. The current Multimedia Distribution System is fully operational. The new facility is currently being constructed with network wall connection boxes that the AV equipment can be "plugged into". The intent is to reuse as much of the current system equipment as necessary/possible to be reused in the reused/installed in the MDS system in the new facility. The SDARNG desires to replace the current MDS plasma display equipment and replace with a HD Video Wall Display system. Video wall will be 3 Tuners High by 7 Tuners Wide (46" Screens). This requirement is set aside for small business however, in the case that there is not adequate responses from small businesses, large businesses will be considered. The Government encourages the participation to the maximum extent possible of small disadvantaged business concerns, service disabled veteran owned small business, woman owned and HUB Zone small business concerns in this activity. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit only written offer for RFQ W912MM-11-T-0034. The associated NAICS code is 4431120 with a size standard of $25.5M. This solicitation in no way obligates the Government to award a contract, nor does it commit the Government to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of any offer/quote.
