The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity and TRICARE Management Activitys Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Program Office intends to issue a sole source contract to Emergency Care Research Institute (ECRI), 5200 Butler Pike, Ply mouth Meeting, PA 19462 to provide software licensing for the IPMTM System which is proprietary to ECRI. This contract is a follow-on to services provided under contract no. W81XWH-04-P-1110 awarded 8 September 2004. The contract period will be 01 Octob er 2006 through 30 September 2007 with four, one year option periods. The requirements include maintenance and licensing of proprietary software. This action is being initiated due to the existence of the IPMTM System at military facilities and any chang e of this system would negatively impact the continuity of operations at military medical institutions.
