Guilford County is seeking proposals for qualified Design-Build teams to provide upfits to existing facility located at 507 E. Green Drive, High Point, NC. The intent of this RFQ is to select a Design-Build team by qualifications-based selection to provide design, estimating, construction and construction management services to accomplish the renovation goals of Guilford County. Guilford County seeks to pursue the design-build project delivery method to minimize cost escalation risk, minimize change orders from existing conditions and decrease the overall project schedule. These renovations will take place in an occupied building and must be planned, scheduled and executed to allow operations to continue in the spaces affected. Guilford County believes the collaboration provided by the design-build model will provide the best end-product for the citizens and occupants of our spaces.
