DESIGN OF ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION FACILITY ON HENDERSON DRIVE (FROM BATHURST STREET TO BALDWIN ROAD / MCCLELLAN WAY)

The Town of Aurora is seeking a qualified multi-disciplinary engineering consultant for the detailed design of active transportation facilities on a 1,064-meter section of Henderson Drive, spanning from Bathurst Street to Baldwin Road/McClellan Way. The project involves designing grade-separated bicycle lanes on the north boulevard and either a multi-use path or a combination of a grade-separated bicycle lane and new sidewalk on the south boulevard, ensuring connectivity with the Case Woodlot trail entrance. All work must align with the Town's 2024 Active Transportation Master Plan and comply with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Manual for Schedule A projects. The procurement process is governed by the Town of Aurora Procurement By-law Number 6404-22 and a custom Draft Form of Contract.
