Dinex Cart Service

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for the Dinex Cart Service to support the San Mateo Medical Center. The scope of work involves repairing oil leaks in the elbows and replacing the hot side coil of a Dinex cart used for heating patient meals, which includes converting the refrigerant to CA compliant R448A. The selected contractor must also be capable of maintaining the existing Dinex carts. This is a best-value solicitation with a five-year contract term, and proposals are due by October 14, 2026. Evaluation is based on a weighted scoring system that provides preferential points for local, small, and micro businesses or non-profits. All intellectual property created during the contract is considered work-made-for-hire and remains the property of the County.
