Districtwide Community Awareness

The Florida Department of Transportation is soliciting proposals for Districtwide Community Awareness services in District Five under solicitation number DOT-RFP-26-5004-DWCA, with responses due by June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Proposals must be submitted electronically to D5.Purch@dot.state.fl.us and are subject to change through official addenda posted on the Florida Vendor Information Portal, which all respondents must continually monitor. All intellectual property developed under the contract becomes the exclusive property of the State, and vendors must comply with Florida statutes prohibiting lobbying with state funds, employing unauthorized aliens, and engaging in boycotts of certain countries. Vendors are required to use E-Verify for all new hires and subcontractors, maintain general liability insurance naming the Department as an additional insured, and refrain from self-insured retention. No performance bond is required. Key personnel must be identified with roles, time commitments, and experience in the technical proposal, which is limited to six single-sided pages with 12-point font, no cover page, and video components submitted on flash drives.
