The Virginia Department of Corrections has issued solicitation DOC-27-021 to establish a contract for the lease of road tractors and box trucks. Administrative requirements include maintaining $1,000,000 in automobile liability insurance and adhering to a five-year record retention policy for audits. Payment is generally issued 30 days after the receipt of an invoice or delivery. Prime contractors with awards exceeding $100,000 must submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan and utilize the eVA Subcontractor Payment Reporting tool. Additionally, offerors must certify compliance with various anti-discrimination acts and the prohibition of political contributions for contracts valued at $5 million or more.
