This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NRMAE000-11-03239 and this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 effective 4 Aug 2011. This is a 100% set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430, Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. The size standard for this NAICS is 100 employees or less. 1. The Contractor shall delivery all equipment and labor necessary to meet the requirements identified in the Statement of Work titled, "StorageTek SL500 Tape Library Upgrade for the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory" dated 15 August 2011 attached. A brand name justification is also attached. Delivery is required within 30 days of award.
