The Department of Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) is issuing a solicitation for expert market analysis reports on the global document capture software market. This initiative supports PSPC’s mandate to enhance document digitization services across federal government departments as part of the broader Digital Canada 150 strategy, which aims to modernize government operations through digital transformation and compliance with regulations like the Accessible Canada Act. The goal is to secure detailed professional reports that outline a three-year global market projection, including best practices for document acquisition and processing, comprehensive profiles of leading vendors covering their services, revenues, and strategic insights, as well as sales data segmented by major regions such as Canada, the United States, and Europe. These reports will guide PSPC’s future business decisions and strategic planning to maintain and expand its leadership in document imaging and capture services. The solicitation allows other suppliers to submit statements of capabilities by the deadline before the contract is awarded to a pre-identified supplier if no suitable proposals are received. The reports must be delivered in PDF format and accessible to at least three organizational users, ensuring multiple departments within the government can benefit from the market intelligence. The contracting authority for this opportunity is Anne Samson, and interested parties must respond by March 20, 2026. This contract aligns with PSPC’s ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive end-to-end managed document capture services through multi-vendor arrangements, thereby leveraging expert market analysis to anticipate industry trends and evolving customer needs.
