Solicitation # PE-77234-NONST-2027-000000012
The Wilcox County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals for the procurement, delivery, and installation of a complete Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Compressor and Fill Station for the Wilcox County Fire Department. The scope of work requires a four-stage, air-cooled, oil-lubricated compressor from manufacturers such as Arctic, Bauer, or Mako, featuring a minimum operating pressure of 6,000 PSI and a capacity of 10 CFM. The system must include a Grade E breathing air purification system with carbon monoxide monitoring, four ASME/DOT storage cylinders with a priority fill panel, and an enclosed containment fill station meeting current NFPA requirements, including a safety interlock. The selected vendor will be responsible for the full installation, system and leak testing, operational demonstrations, air quality certification, and on-site training for personnel. Portable Special-Purpose High-Purity Nitrogen Generation Systems
Solicitation # N4523A27RFI0801
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility is conducting market research via Request for Information N4523A27RFI0801 to acquire portable, special-purpose high-purity nitrogen generation systems. The government is seeking a ruggedized, turn-key solution housed within a single ISO 668 Type 1C 20-foot heavy-duty intermodal shipping container that is weather-sealed and salt-air corrosion resistant. Technical requirements specify the system must produce nitrogen with oxygen purity levels below 50 ppm, deliver pressures up to 4,500 psig, and feature a dual-mode feed air architecture, a high-pack booster compressor, and an automated supply manifold. The system must be capable of 180 days of continuous operation without scheduled servicing and 7-day autonomous operation in an unmanned outdoor shipyard environment. The contemplated acquisition strategy is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract utilizing streamlined commercial procedures under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The government intends to procure two initial First Article Test units for qualification and NRTL inspection, followed by up to ten production units ordered via firm-fixed-price delivery orders. The scope includes on-site turnkey delivery, commissioning, operational verification at the Bremerton, Washington facility, 24 months of spare consumable parts, and optional multi-year maintenance agreements. Source selection is expected to be based on Best Value with Tradeoffs or Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, evaluating technical capability, reliability, delivery schedules, and past performance.

Full Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. The National Weather Service (NWS) is conducting market research for the replacement of Compressor Dehydrators in its 175 NEXRAD Weather Surveillance Radars (WSR-88D). The WSR-88D uses two versions of compressor dehydrator. The single output unit provides continuous waveguide pressure at 3 psig and RH of less than 2%. The second unit provides dual output maintaining 3 psig and 25 psig; with a RH of less than 2% at both outputs. Replacement unit(s) should be capable of operating 24/7 year round with minimal maintenance; if a desiccant material is used, it should be field serviceable. The unit(s) should provide alarms for low pressure and high humidity. Power requirements for the units are single phase 115 VAC at 60 Hz. RESPONSES: Responses to this RFI must include the device manufacturer, a product description with performance parameters, and a statement regarding current availability (NDI, prototype, in production, fully developed but not in production). Responses should also include a cost estimate and delivery timeline for the product. This RFI does not constitute an invitation for bids, request for proposal, or request for quote and there is no related solicitation posted. Accordingly, respondents will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred in providing a response. Any questions regarding this RFI should be addressed in writing to the NWS Project Engineer, Mr. Glenn Secrest (glenn.s.secrest@noaa.gov), with Contracting Officer Chad Hepp (Chad.M.Hepp@noaa.gov) copied on the email. Responses should be sent to the attention of Chad Hepp, Contracting Officer, via email to Chad.M.Hepp@noaa.gov.

NOAAPort Replacement Capabilities
Solicitation # 142083-27-0002
The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the National Weather Service (NWS) have issued Request for Information (RFI) No. 142083-27-0002 to conduct market research for the replacement of the legacy NOAAPort Satellite Broadcast Network (SBN). The government is seeking information on innovative, high-reliability distribution capabilities—which could be cloud-based, terrestrial, satellite, or hybrid—to deliver mission-critical weather data to a geographically dispersed user community. The replacement system must support the exchange, ingestion, processing, and distribution of data products and must integrate with the NWS Hydrometeorological Interactive Virtual Environment (HIVE) and the Centralized Integrated Real-Time Repository for Unified Services (CIRRUS) using common internet protocols such as APIs and MQTT. This notice is for planning purposes only and is not a solicitation for award; no funds have been authorized or appropriated for this effort at this time. The NWS intends to deactivate the legacy SBN as early as August 31, 2027, and is requesting industry feedback on technical architectures, cloud migration strategies, security protocols, and rough order of magnitude cost estimates. Interested respondents must submit their responses in Microsoft Word or PDF format to the designated points of contact by October 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The government is utilizing this RFI to inform its acquisition strategy and evaluate potential small business set-aside opportunities under NAICS code 541512.
