Downtown Stormwater Drainage Improvements - First Street Flood Risk Reduction Professional Services

The City of Fort Myers is soliciting qualifications under RSQ 26-039 for professional engineering, environmental, permitting, and construction phase services to implement stormwater drainage improvements along a one-mile stretch of First Street, from Edison Bridge west toward Virginia Avenue. The project aims to mitigate repetitive flooding caused by intense rainfall and coastal influences by increasing system capacity through the installation of upsized piping, culverts, and drainage structures, as well as associated roadway restoration.
