SUMMARYThe United States Postal Service (USPS) seeks to purchase a site or building for a postal-owned processing and distribution annex for the Las Vegas metro area. The location of available sites or buildings will determine the size of the site and building. LOCATION Preferred Area: (150,000 SF building on 15 acre site) South Las Vegas, south of Desert Inn Road Alternate Preferred Area: (95,000 SF building on 10 acre site) Las Vegas, North of Lake Mead Boulevard (NW area preferred) Land leases and building/land leases will also be considered if ownership is not possible. VACANT LAND The desired site size is between 10 acres to 15 acres of land, net usable. The location will determine the size of the building to be constructed. EXISTING BUILDINGS Existing single-story, modern distribution facilities between 95,000 SF to 150,000 SF with a 3/2 length to width and adequate docks and parking may also be offered for sale/purchase/lease. The building will be a one-story dock - high distribution facility with minimum interior clear height of 24 feet, with desired bay sizes 50 feet by 50 feet or 56 feet by 56 feet. Interested parties should submit an Expression of Interest letter to the USPS Buyer-Broker by COB June 29, 2007 in order to receive a solicitation. Offerors must own or control the submitted site.
