EDGEBANDING, MOLDING, T MOLDING

UNICOR intends to enter into a five (5) year firm fixed price requirements type contract for molding, edgebanding and T-molding for UNICOR Allenwood PA, Ashland KY, Forrest City AR, Coleman FL, Talladega AL, and Florence CO. Solicitation number is FN1296-09 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. The minimum delivery order quantity is $500.00 each delivery order and the maximum delivery order quantity is $10,000.00. Delivery date requested is 21 days for the initial order and 14 days for each order thereafter. Variation in quantity +/- 10 %. This procurement is a full and open procurement. There will be an economic price adjustment every 12 months based on the Producer Price Index for NAICS product code 325211. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers on a multiple award basis. Multiple awards will be made on what represents the best value to the government. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Complex, Route 15, 2 Miles N. of Allenwood, Allenwood PA 17810 ATTN: Tiffani Balestrini if sending via Fedex or UPS. A six inch (6") sample shall be provided of each color with proposal. A twelve foot (12') sample of each color in solicitation shall be provided to UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, 400 First Streeet NW, Washington DC 20534, Attn: Tatea Cavanaugh FN1296-09 shall be marked on the outside of package. All samples shall be marked with color and corresponding UNICOR part number. If you have a representative/manufacturer send samples on your behalf, make sure samples are marked with your company's name and all other requested information. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Offerors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR's webpage at www.unicor.gov. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror or offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Adherence to specification (ability to match desired color) Past Performance, and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
