The Scope of Work for the Edgewater Drive Park Renovations Project includes the demolition and removal of existing asphalt pavement within the current parking area, as well as the removal of the adjacent concrete sidewalk along Edgewater Drive. The proposed improvements consist of the construction of an expanded parking facility to accommodate additional vehicular spaces. The existing 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk will be reconstructed and widened to 10 feet to meet updated accessibility and pedestrian circulation requirements. Site improvements also include the installation of a stormwater pond, site furnishings such as benches, waste receptacles, drinking fountain(s), bike repair station, landscaping and regulatory/informational signage as specified in the construction plans. Adjustments to existing utility structures shall be performed as necessary to match the proposed finish grades and elevations indicated in the construction documents. All adjustments shall comply with applicable standards and be coordinated with the respective utility owners. The intent of this bid is to obtain competitive prices to establish a contract for construction services. All quantities are estimates only and the city of Clearwater (city) is not obligated to purchase any minimum or maximum amount during the life of the contract. All the work is to be administered per Section III, Section 11.3, Unit Price Work, of the Contract Documents.
