On behalf of its department of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), the University of Michigan is seeking to establish an agreement with one or more licensed Type II disposal landfill facilities for the disposal of non-hazardous contaminated soil. The agreement would include unit cost pricing for non-hazardous contaminated soil disposal per ton, 30-gallon drum, and 55-gallon drum. All rates should include all fees, taxes, surcharges, and all other applicable charges including those from third-parties such as the State of Michigan. Please include pricing for items such as cost of manifests, profile fees, dig out fees, etc. as applicable. The agreement does not include transport of the contaminated soil. Additionally, EHS would like to know if the licensed Type II landfill has slurry solidification capabilities and, if so, what the unit cost for slurry solidification would be. The agreement would cover the Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn Campuses for the University of Michigan and the provided unit pricing should be specific to each Type II landfill disposal facility, if the Supplier has more than one facility in those areas. This purchase is for contract pricing for the time period of three (3) years with an optional two (2) year renewal. In addition to the insurance requirements listed in Section 9.0 of the general terms & conditions, Supplier shall, at Supplier's expense, obtain and maintain the following coverage: Environmental Impairment Liability with limits not less than $5 million per occurrence The approximate yearly soil volumes taken to a Type II Landfill: 2023- 140,000 cubic yards 2024- 225,000 cubic yards 2025- 75,000 cubic yards The following information is provided to assist each Supplier in understanding the scope of work and serves as data so the Supplier can sufficiently and efficiently submit their response and is not a guarantee of future volumes. •All quantities stated are annual estimates based on the most current twelve (12) months usage. The provision of product quantity information in no way constitutes a purchase commitment on the part of the University. Payment terms will be Net 45 days, subject to negotiation of early payment discounts. Payment terms better than Net 45 days may be considered in the evaluation of this request. Please itemize all prices, discounts and charges. The University reserves the right to accept all or part, or decline the whole. There is no obligation to buy.
