The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Precision Aviation Controls, Inc. for the overhaul and repair of six Main Fuel Controllers, as this vendor is the only source authorized by General Electric, the original equipment manufacturer, with the necessary knowledge, facilities, and capability to perform the work. This action is justified under FAR 6.103.1, which permits sole source procurement when only one responsible source exists and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No request for quotes will be issued, and this notice is not a solicitation; however, interested parties may submit a capability statement by June 30, 2026, referencing solicitation number N6893626SIMACQDB0000MEB0000M0459, to demonstrate their ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, or schedule. Responses must be sent via email to Yvonne Stockwell at yvonne.c.stockwell.civ@us.navy.mil. All potential contributors must be registered in SAM.gov with an active status prior to submission, as the government cannot award contracts to entities without current registration, and processing SAM updates may require 10 to 15 days. Additionally, contractors must be certified through the Defense Logistics Information Services to access Controlled Unclassified Information or Export Controlled Information, and access to such data is restricted to a single designated Data Custodian per CAGE code, who must have an approved DD 2345 form listed in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian to obtain the necessary access permissions, and failure to meet these requirements will disqualify participation. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 811310, and the point of contact for inquiries is Yvonne Stockwell, with Faith L. LaGore as the secondary contact.

General Info
