Mandatory parts for standard overhaul does not include cable harness. Does it get included in standard overhaul price or not? Response: Section 1.2.1 describes the unit and what should be included when the vendor receives the item. If these items are not included in the crate we should be notified. Response: The overhaul is to bring the water closet to a like new condition. If there are parts that don't meet that requirement, they should be replaced. Section 4.9 has been modified to read "Warranty - The Contractor's standard overhaul warranty applies" 3) Section 3.8.3 requires a written certification the water closet was reconditioned to same standards as new when again, they have been in service for years and not all parts are being replaced? Response: The water closest should be certified to a like new condition. If the vendor does not wish to so, they should state their warranty in the proposal and it will be taken into consideration. 4) In HSCG40-13-R-11001, it states " all prices on below CLINS shall be a firm fixed price yet in CLIN 0003 it asks for the ESTIMATED cost of the overhaul? Response: Please note that the solicitation states "Unless otherwise stated," should the scope of repair be outside of the standard overhaul, an estimate would be required. 5) Pages 6 and 7, CLIN 0004, there is only room for labor.
