Excavator and Bulldozer Rental

The Department of National Defence is seeking the rental of heavy equipment for the 5th Combat Engineer Regiment at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier. The scope of work involves the rental of two excavators and four bulldozers, provided without operators. The primary contract period runs from October 13, 2026, to November 6, 2026, with a delivery schedule split between October 13 and October 19. Canada maintains an irrevocable option to extend the rental for each piece of equipment by an additional seven calendar days. All equipment must be delivered Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) per Incoterms 2020, and maintenance and repair services must be available on-site at CFB Valcartier. The contract is open to Canadian suppliers or those from applicable trading partners, with a total liability limit of 70,000 Canadian dollars. Award is based on the lowest bidder among those who meet the mandatory technical criteria. Proposals must be submitted via email in three distinct sections: a technical offer, a financial offer, and the required submission and declaration forms. Payment is processed within 30 days of receiving an acceptable invoice. The contractor must also certify compliance with anti-forced labour policies and workplace harassment directives.
