The School District of Osceola County, Florida, issued solicitation SDOC-26-P-037-GC to secure an exclusive provider of high-quality athletic uniforms and apparel for all high school campuses. The selected supplier is required to provide access to a single, nationally recognized athletic brand to ensure consistency in quality and branding across a wide array of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. Key requirements for the provider include a clearly defined sponsorship and rebate structure, adherence to specific school color and mascot guidelines, and comprehensive service management, such as coordinating with athletic directors and managing timely deliveries. To minimize waste, the contract specifies a transition period where uniforms are replaced only at the end of their functional life rather than on an annual basis. Following a competitive procurement process that included a short list of qualified vendors, the contract was awarded to BSN Sports, LLC. The agreement consists of an initial four-year term with two optional two-year renewal periods. The provider must comply with various local and federal regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act and Equal Employment Opportunity standards, while offering specific percentage discounts off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for garments and detailed customization pricing. The district maintains the right to procure items from alternative sources if they are unavailable through the exclusive provider and utilizes a formal reporting system to address any unsatisfactory materials or services.
