Expendable Mobile Anti- Training Target Sole Source

The U.S. Navy’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport is awarding a sole-source, firm fixed price purchase order to Lockheed Martin for the procurement of 450 MK39 Expendable Mobile Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Training Target (EMATT) Mod 3 units, a commercial off-the-shelf product used to support realistic ASW training for surface, air, and submarine forces. The contract is being conducted under the NAICS code 334511 as an unrestricted action with no set-aside, and Lockheed Martin is the only known source capable of delivering this proven system, having previously supplied over 12,000 units to the Navy.
