Full Description
The project involves the taking down, cleaning and reinstallation of drapes, voiles, blinds and related hardware, in residential properties occupied by personnel of the US Government.
Key components include:
- Inspect and report on the condition of all window treatments including drapes, voiles, blinds and related hardware
- Mark all curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware for point of reference
- Place curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware in boxes clearly marked with the physical address
- Clean all removed curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware as per recommended manufacturer’s specifications
- Store all the removed curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware, etc. for the duration of the make ready in a secure, clean area off site
- Deliver to GSO Warehouse all curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware, that are being replaced with new ones, instead of being cleaned for reinstallation.
- Clean all windowpanes and security grills inside before curtains/voiles/blinds/hardware are re-installed
- Ensure all hardware for proper functioning of curtains/voiles/blinds are present and working and replace where necessary
- Ensure full functionality of all parts of all curtains/voiles/blinds
