Project Summary: The Project is a 9-story building containing 168 affordable rental apartments for families and one manager’s unit. The Project is being co-developed through a partnership between the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) and Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC). Following construction completion, CCDC will serve as the property management agency during operations. The building also includes two ground-floor, community-serving commercial spaces. Construction commenced in February 2025 and is scheduled to receive a temporary certificate of occupancy in February 2027. Casa Adelante – 1515 South Van Ness is adjacent to another CCDC development, Casa Adelante – 1296 Shotwell. The two developments share a courtyard designed to foster an intergenerational community among residents of both buildings. Scope of Work: Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (Procurement and Installation) LBE/SBE Requirements & Goals: The project is administered by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD). The San Francisco Contract Monitoring Division (CMD) has assigned separate 25% SBE subcontracting goals for professional services and construction services. The Sponsors are responsible for meeting the overall SBE participation goal, which includes design and pre-construction services. The selected Consultants will be responsible for assisting the Sponsors by providing forms regarding SBE professional services goals as it pertains to their scope of work.
