THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCMENET ONLY. This is sources sought Notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS Code category 115112. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation.

This procurement is to supply and plant “native vegetation plantings” and the installation of a sand fence at North Brenton Island located off the coast of Louisiana.
The planting includes 67,000 Black Mangrove and 11,000 Smooth Cordgrass in two designated planting areas over 18.5 acres on North Breton Island. The installation of native plants is to facilitate the development of a nesting habitat.
The contract will also include the supply and installation of a sand fence roughly 7,500 linear feet.
