F--Wildland Fire Protection Services on Corps of Engineers-managed lands surrounding Dworshak Dam and Reservoir in North Central Idaho

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1), Soliciting from a Single Source) with Clearwater Potlatch Timber Protective Association, Inc., 10250 Highway 12, Orofino, Idaho 83544-8502 website: (http://www.cptpa.com/). This requirement is for a three year Wildland Fire Protection commercial services contract, including pre-suppression, prevention, detection, and fire suppression activities on Corps of Engineers-managed lands surrounding Dworshak Dam and Reservoir in North Central Idaho. The requirement of this award includes boat patrols, fixed wing aerial patrols, helicopter operations, and have legal right of ways to enter private properties adjacent to Corps of Engineers owned land in the event of fires. The Corps of Engineers intends to award this requirement as one, all inclusive contract. Only those firms that can perform all the elements should provide notice to this announcement. The Government reserves the rights to review all submittals for the capability of the stated requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this notice is 115310, which has a size standard of $17.5 million. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
