The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) requires deep sea (>2000m depth rating) camera systems, on an as and when requested basis, consisting of a GoPro camera housing that accommodates external batteries, two deep sea lights with external batteries, and a set of green parallel lasers set exactly 10cm apart. This system must be able to record for at least 4 hours, under cold conditions. DFO also require a compatible mechanism to mount the system on steel and aluminum camera platforms. Duration of the Standing Offer is for one year with 3 additional one-year option periods. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. Reference the solicitation for further details.
