Small Business Sources Sought This small business sources sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) market research for information and preliminary planning purposes. No proposals or quotations are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACTS SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. At this time NIH is seeking to identify qualified small businesses that are capable of providing the necessary services described herein. The purpose of this market research is to gain knowledge of the interest and capabilities of qualified small businesses to provide facility remediation, demolition, and general environmental related services at NIH as described in the attached draft performance work statement (PWS). While the Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors, initial market research indicates there are a sufficient number of small businesses capable and qualified to perform services. Therefore, responses from other than qualified small businesses will not be reviewed. All information received in response to this small business sources sought marked "proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competitive sensitive information contained in their responses. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought notice or any follow up information requests. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. This announcement shall not be construed as a commitment by the US Government and the Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input to this market research. Responses to this sources sought will not be returned. Interested small businesses shall email capability statements no later than March 13, 2015 to evron.rollins@nih.gov.
