These youth are under Juvenile Department supervision for delinquent behaviors and have a range of risk factors, needs and barriers. Youth present with a range of cognitive abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities, cultural backgrounds, and many with histories of trauma. "Family Navigators" will work closely with Juvenile Department staff to support youth and family success in the youth's case plan objectives and to motivate and support youth in developing positive connections to their communities. These services are targeted for the most at-risk and underserved youth in our community.
