Financial Advisory Services for Energy Projects, Renewables, Energy Efficiency, Transmission

The New York Power Authority is seeking proposals from qualified financial advisors to support various energy-related projects across the state, including renewables, transmission, distributed solar, asset sales, and power purchase agreements for prepaid electricity. The selected advisors will provide specialized financial advisory services to assist in the development, financing, and execution of these capital-intensive programs over a five-year period. The contract aims to facilitate the Authority’s efforts to advance sustainable energy initiatives and infrastructure improvements, with project sizes estimated between five million and twenty million dollars. Bidders are instructed to access official bid documents through the NYPA website, and incomplete submissions may be rejected. The procurement is open to entities across all New York State counties, with no set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. Notably, several firms such as Advanced Automation Corporation, Credit Agricole, Ernst & Young, Guidehouse, JP Morgan Securities, and Rockfleet Financial Services have previously engaged in similar contracts with the Authority. The deadline for responses is December 19, 2024, and the contract is scheduled to commence shortly thereafter, supporting NYPA’s ongoing efforts to promote renewable energy and modernize the state's energy infrastructure.
