The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for a Contractor to complete the Fire Safety System Modernization at Millhaven Institution. The panel modernization includes the replacement of existing Siemens MXL control panels in buildings MHU, MHT, MHS1, MHS2, as well as the Network Command and Controls Centre in the Main Communications and Control Post (MCCP) with the Desigo Fire Safety System. This project will complete the modernization of the field devices for the following panels in buildings MHN, MHU, MHT, MI GO and the MI GI Buildings. The Underwriter Laboratories of Canada (ULC) compatible Simens MXL addressable field detection devices must be returned to the Works Department at Millhaven Institution.
To modernize the fire safety system to ensure the system meets ever-changing Fire Code requirements, and to continue improving Fire Safety communications throughout the institution by adapting the current MXL system to the Desigo Modular Migration Solution.
The Contractor is responsible the subcontracting of the OEM proprietary rights holder and all work completed by the OEM proprietary rights holder including the costs associated with required labour, equipment and materials.
