NAICS: 336212 (500 employees) The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, has a requirement to procure various trailer parts (see below) to support an estimated 52 USCG 32' Transportable Port Security Boat (TPSB) trailers (Part # PCTR-3111BB). All parts supplied must be genuine OEM - no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. Nomenclature OEM Part Number TRAILER ALUMINUM, DUAL AXLE, PCTR-311BB W/BRAKES, TO SUPPORT VESSEL PER DRAWING 3063-910-001 HRM HUB ASSY 10AHHDK HRM WHEEL BEARINGS COMPLETE 88XHDL LEFT LED LIGHTS 1A6B RIGHT LED LIGHTS 1A5B 1 AXLE BRAKE PADS 13AK1 16" TIRE & WHEEL (ON TRAILER) 110A33 It is the Government's belief that only Float-On Corporation can provide these items and ensures exact form, fit, and functions with existing equipment, therefore it is the Government's intent to solicit only to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Float-On Corporation and/or their authorized distributors. However, other concerns having the capabilities to supply these parts are invited to submit complete information discussing their capabilities within 15 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include: (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
