The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), National Forensic Laboratory Services (NFLS) which has locations in both Ottawa, Ontario and Surrey, British Columbia requires up to two (2) Forensic Firearms Examiner Resources to assist with the completion of operational forensic firearms examinations. Resources will be allowed to choose which of these locations they would like to work from. The RCMP intends to award up to two (2) contracts as a result of this solicitation. Bidders may propose up to two (2) unique Resources. Bidders must submit one (1) bid per unique resource The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to four (4) additional one-year periods. A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price. The ratio will be 70% for the technical merit and 30% for the price for each responsive bid. Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit at: David.Repsys@rcmp-grc.gc.ca Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
