FPL Campus Tree Care - The purpose of this project is to remove overgrown, dead, and hazardous branches from a variety of trees across the FPL campus. In addition, there are several injured or dead trees that will be completely removed. Dead branches pose a hazard to employees and create difficulties for mowing and groundskeeping. Overgrown branches and trees located near power lines and electrical transformers can create electrical or fire hazards, making removal essential for safety. The main species of trees at the FPL are Locust, Maple, Oak, Ash, and Pine.
