Full Description

Deliver on September 24th and 25th a total of 30,000 gallons of number two dyed off road diesel fuel (NO BIO-DIESEL) to Lock and Dam 12, located 3 blocks north of the intersection of Highway 62 and Highway 52, just off of Franklin Street in Bellevue, IA The fuel will be pumped onboard a floating barge capable of holding 70K gallons of fuel. The fuel hose connections are 3" cam-lock fitting. The USACE will have 3" adapter fitting if required. The fuel barge is owned & operated by the USACE and annually inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard. The USACE fuel barge will be manned and controlled by two Government employees during transfer. The transport truck operators will be responsible for all transport truck activities and have the proper certifications to transfer fuel to a marine floating fuel barge. The entire delivery will be only transferred during the hours of 0630 to 1800 on the aforementioned dates; deliveries will be scheduled with MR. Bernhardt, Chief Engineer Dredge Goetz. Contractor shall be able to begin delivery of fuel the day of contract award.
