Solicitation SPRTA126R1792, issued by the Department of Defense DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City, is a request for the new manufacture of Critical Safety Item fuel pumps for F110 jet engines. The requirement is for an estimated quantity of 58 units, with a flexible range between 14 and 87 units, to be delivered to Tinker AFB, OK, by May 31, 2027. The items are identified by NSN 2915013548333PR and part numbers 9338M20P08 / 5010069, consisting of aluminum alloy construction. Proposals are due by October 13, 2026, and the award decision will be based on a combination of price and past performance, with the government utilizing the Supplier Performance Risk System to assess item, price, and supplier risk. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and packaging standards, including MIL-STD-2073 for preservation and MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130 for marking and Item Unique Identification. This contract is a sole source solicitation for eight Fuel Pressurizer Valves, identified by NSN 2915-01-230-9488 and part number 4062056, to be procured from Eaton Aerospace, LLC. The valve maintains minimum pressure in the main fuel system and is constructed primarily of Material Group 12 and 17 as defined in Technical Order 00-25-113-F100-ENG, with physical dimensions of 6.3 inches in length and width, and 10.5 inches in height, weighing 1.9 pounds. Delivery is split across two timelines: seven units must be delivered on or before August 23, 2027, and one unit by February 28, 2029. All items will be shipped to the DLA Distribution Depot in Oklahoma under a Firm Fixed Price contract with no option periods. The requirement is part of a Foreign Military Sales program, and although export controls do not apply, Item Unique Identification is mandatory due to the unit price exceeding $5,000. Only qualified sources already approved under FAR 52.209-1 are eligible for award; no bids from unqualified sources will be considered, and the government will not delay the award pending source approval requests. Offerors must submit Source Approval Requests electronically through DoD SAFE, with technical support available via the AFSC Small Business Office. The solicitation will be published exclusively online via SAM.gov, with no hard copies issued, and funds are not yet available, meaning no award will occur until appropriation is confirmed and the government retains the right to cancel without reimbursement. The solicitation opens May 29, 2026, with responses due June 29, 2026, and an Ombudsman is available to receive contractor concerns during the proposal phase without involvement in evaluation or selection. The contract follows the prior award FA8121-20-P-0003 and is managed by the Department of Defense, with contracting oversight handled by William Heckenkemper and Savannah Mincey at Tinker Air Force Base.
