Full Description

This synopsis is notification of the Agencys intent to extend contract DABT11-00-C-0006 for a period of four months starting 01 Oct 06 through 31 January 07 with two one-month option periods, to the incumbent contractor, Ronlyn Corporation, 1102 Lan ey Walker Blvd., Augusta, GA 30901. A competitive contract started on 01 Oct 00 for installation food support services at Fort Gordon, GA. The extension will be performed under the same terms and conditions as the existing contract. The contract type is a cost plus award fee. The extension will provide uninterrupted services to the Fort Gordon installation pending resolution of a protest of award of a competitive follow-on contract. This action is accomplished under the authority cited 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1 ), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and is posted for 15 days. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this extension period would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be extended without further notice. A determination by the Government no t to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
