General Repair and Maintenance of Light Duty Vehicles and Equipment 2026 (Re-Bid)

The City of Spokane is soliciting proposals under RFP 6637-26 for the general repair and maintenance of light duty vehicles and equipment. The selected contractors, referred to as The Shop, will be responsible for providing all staffing, tools, parts, and diagnostic equipment necessary for maintenance, inspections, and repairs. The scope of work includes in-house and on-site repairs, vehicle transport via pick-up and delivery, and expedited field services for police and emergency vehicles. All parts must be new and meet or exceed OEM specifications, and the contractor must maintain a secure facility for city vehicles. The contract is for an initial term of one year with the option for four additional one-year renewals upon mutual agreement. Eligible bidders must be licensed in the State of Washington and possess at least three years of experience working with government or public sector organizations. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the ProcureWare portal by November 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The evaluation process is conducted blind and is based on the proposal that best meets the requirements rather than the lowest cost. Multiple contracts will be awarded. Payment terms are net thirty days following the acceptance of a satisfactory invoice, and each work order must include a valid purchase order number.
