Vehicle Repair - Unit 8523 - Fleet

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the repair of a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500, Unit 8523, for the Department of Fleet Management. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform a vehicle diagnosis, a fuel service system check, and the replacement and reprogramming of the ABS Module, as the ABS Hydraulic Control is currently non-operational. The vehicle is located at Bergeron Auto in Metairie, Louisiana. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A critical requirement for award is strict adherence to insurance standards outlined in Jefferson Parish Resolution No. 136353 or No. 141125. Specifically, the contractor must maintain Garage Keeper’s Insurance of 500,000.00 dollars per occurrence. The apparent low bidder must provide final insurance certificates within ten calendar days of the bid opening or face rejection. Any requests for insurance deviations must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Department prior to the bid due date.
