H92222-16-R-0030 The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that the United States Special Operations Command intends to issue a contract for evaluation of, and associated consulting services for, the one Andriod-based mobile device MX50 with the installed Trivalent's Auric FUSE encryption software product, create security target (ST), create entropy report and, perform common criteria (CC) evaluation of product against the protection profile for Mobile Device Fundamentals, and the protection profile for application software that includes the Application Software Protection Profile Extended Package. This proposed contract action will be issued using other than full and open competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirments. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to support the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days of this sources sought will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
