Regional Parks is the owner and operator of the system while the Sacramento County Environmental Management Department (EMD), Environmental Compliance Division, is the regulatory authority responsible for oversight of drinking water quality, monitoring schedules, and system compliance; therefore, all operational, sampling, and reporting activities performed under this contract must meet EMD requirements. Gibson Ranch Park's water system serves facilities located at 8556 Gibson Ranch Park Road in Elverta, California. The first well (P-70) is located on the Northeast side of Gibson Lake and is the primary domestic potable water supply well which is distributed to the facilities through a 6" main. The second well (P-71) is located on the South side of Gibson Lake and serves as the primary irrigation & lake supply water well but can also serve as the emergency or standby domestic potable water well. Both wells currently have submersible pumps and motors installed & operating. The Distribution system has 10 service connections and the population served is more than 1,000 persons during any month. It is classified as a Transient, Non-community Water System. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing weekly, monthly, annual, and tri‑annual operational tasks, sampling, inspections, chemical feed system maintenance, and reporting activities required to ensure continuous, compliant, and reliable operation of the system. The anticipated contract term begins March 11, 2027, and runs through March 10, 2028, with the option to renew annually for up to four additional one‑year terms through March 10, 2032, pending approval by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
