SOLE SOURCE RFQ to FlightSafety International (FSI): This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The 763d Specialized Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. This procurement will be solicited sole source to FlightSafety International (FSI), located at Marine Air Terminal LaGuardia Airport, Flushing, NY 11371-1061. Based on proprietary rights and the fact that FSI has not granted authorization to outside companies to perform maintenance on their software, FSI is the only source that can meet this requirement.
