Grease Trap Pumping at Nottoway Correctional Center

The Nottoway Correctional Center is seeking a qualified vendor for a one-year renewable contract to provide quarterly grease trap pumping services at two locations in Burkeville, Virginia. The scope of work includes the pumping of a 2,000-gallon tank at the Nottoway Correctional Center and a 1,000-gallon tank at the Nottoway Work Center. Each service visit is estimated to take up to two hours to complete, accounting for necessary facility entry and exit procedures. This solicitation is set aside for DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses, including women-owned and minority-owned enterprises. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on net prices. The selected contractor must be properly licensed, maintain required insurance through companies authorized in Virginia, and adhere to strict facility security regulations, including background checks and fingerprinting for all personnel. Compliance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Vendors Manual and various non-discrimination laws is mandatory. Contractors with more than five employees must also provide annual sexual harassment training and post their policy publicly. Bidders must be registered in the eVA portal and submit their bids using the official state form to avoid rejection.
