Sources Sought has been updated by decreasing the known minimum quantitiy of golf carts to 25, with the plan to incorporate surge options for additional golf carts that may be identified as needed, as we get closer to the airshow.
1.0 DISCLAIMER

This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party’s expense.
2.0 BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVE
The USAF AFRC 434 CONS/PK at Grissom Air Reserve Base (ARB), Indiana, is conducting market research to identify potential commercial sources capable of providing a short-term rental fleet of twenty-five (25) gas-powered golf carts to support the 2026 Grissom ARB Airshow. Additional golf carts may be added to the RFQ under option surge CLINs with option delivery fees.
3.0 REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW
The anticipated Period of Performance is August 24, 2026, through September 1, 2026.
3.1 Vehicle Specifications:
All vehicles must be gas-powered and capable of operating safely on grass, gravel, and tarmac. All carts must be equipped with headlights, taillights, sun canopies/roofs, and windshields.

3.2 Logistics & Base Access Constraints:

Delivery: Monday, August 24, 2026, no later than 10:00 AM (Local Time).

Pick-up: Tuesday, September 1, 2026, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM (Local Time).

Location: Non-flight line side of Base Operations (Bldg 600), Grissom ARB, IN 46971.

Security: Grissom ARB is a secure installation. Delivery/pick-up drivers must pass a background check and possess valid identification. Commercial delivery trucks must undergo inspection at the base gate (Mon-Fri, 0815-1545).

Fuel Policy: The Government will conduct daily refueling during the event. Vehicles will NOT be returned with full tanks of fuel (no post-rental refueling fees shall apply).
