Full Description

**Pre-TMRR sole source contracts will not be pursued** The US Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Directorate, Ground Based Strategic Deterrent Division (AFNWC/NIC) is contemplating a sole source award(s) to potentially all prospective prime contractors who anticipate submitting a formal proposal for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) contract. AFNWC/NIC continues to engage with industry and has been conducting extensive market research since FY14. This research aids in understanding industry's capabilities and developing the GBSD acquisition strategy and key TMRR documents. The TMRR objective is to conclude with a preliminary design and functional baseline leading up to a competition for the development/production phase. AFNWC/NIC is now seeking to enter into sole source contracts with potential future GBSD prime TMRR contractors to accelerate maturation of documentation and methodologies for communication between potential Prime Contractors and the System Program Office. This will provide the program management team with the ability to manage budget expectations with contract scope and streamline the dissemination of information, specifically regarding the sharing of classified materials. The expected period of performance will be a three (3) month base period and approximately three (3) one-month options. No agreements, promises or other commitments are made or implied by the Government. The Government is not responsible or liable for expenditures incurred as the result of this posting.
