The City of Round Rock, herein after “the City” seeks a bid from firms experienced in the collection and disposal of household hazardous waste (HHW). The City has been operating a household hazardous waste collection and disposal facility since May 2004. All collection events will be held at the City recycling center located at 310 Deepwood Drive in Round Rock, Texas. This facility will serve approximately 120,000 persons. Participation is expected to serve 1500 to 2000 households annually. It is estimated that thirty (30) tons (prepackaged waste weight) of hazardous waste will be collected annually.
