Houston Ship Channel Sims to Turning Basin Maintenance Dredging

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, is procuring a firm-fixed-price contract for dredging operations along the Houston Ship Channel, spanning from Sims Bayou to the upper Turning Basin, with an optional scope to include dredging and debris removal at Port of Houston Authority docks. The project is estimated at $10 million to $100 million, with a base performance period of 120 calendar days and an additional 90 days if the option is exercised. Work must be completed at the Rosa Allen upland confined disposal site for dredged material, and contractors are required to demonstrate prior experience in deep-draft navigation channel dredging, submit historical production rate data, and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within five days of award.
