Full Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation (other than the document attached hereto) will not be issued. The National Gallery of Art (NGA), located in Washington, DC, hereby seeks proposals for maintenance of its HP and IBM servers as described in the attached solicitation document. The attached document includes further details of the NGA's requirements and pricing/payment information in addition to the above summary. The NGA requests proposals in compliance with these requirements, which will be evaluated according to the terms of the attached document, Sections L & M. Delivery of services shall be made FOB destination to the NGA's locations at approximately 6th St. & Constitution Ave. NW, Washington DC and 2000B South Club Drive, Landover, MD. All vendors who submit a proposal must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses applicable to this solicitation and the resulting contract are included in the attached solicitation document (See Section I). By submitting a proposal in response to this RFP, the vendor warrants that any goods or services provided to the Gallery in satisfaction of this requirement are fit for the ordinary purposes for which they were designed, as well as the particular purpose(s) specified in this synopsis/solicitation, and any additional purposes as represented by the vendor. Offerors are responsible for having read and complied with this synopsis/solicitation as well as the document(s) attached hereto and available upon request submitted to the NGA CS listed as the primary contact in this posting.
